Each summer, a select group of exceptional students from around the world come together in Oxford to learn, grow, and discover who they can become.

The next session will run from 3rd August to 16th August 2026. Applications are open on a rolling basis – we encourage early submissions for this highly competitive Oxford summer school.
As one of the most sought-after high school summer programs, we welcome only 100 scholars with a strong academic background, leadership potential, and a keen interest in their chosen field of study. Applicants must submit a personal statement and their school academic transcript. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for an interview. Only the top candidates are selected, ensuring a cohort of exceptional scholars.

OSP independently hires facilities from the University of Oxford and engages educators who teach at the university. However, it operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Oxford.
All courses at OSP are taught by top academics, researchers, and industry professionals from world-renowned institutions. This ensures that scholars benefit from world-class expertise and engaging, discussion-based teaching throughout their Oxford summer school experience.
Yes! The Oxford Scholars Programme offers an exciting array of cultural excursions and day trips, allowing students to explore both the historic city of Oxford and beyond.
In Oxford, scholars will enjoy a Walking Tour of the city, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Radcliffe Camera (RadCam) and the Sheldonian Theatre, followed by a punting experience along the scenic River Cherwell – a classic Oxford tradition.
Scholars will also have the opportunity to tour some of the most prestigious Oxford colleges, offering an inside look at student life and the prestigious academic environment.
In addition, free time is built into the schedule, giving scholars the chance to explore Oxford, including shopping or simply soaking in the city’s vibrant atmosphere.
Day trip to London include visits to some of the city’s most iconic sites, such as Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and the Southbank Centre Food Market.

We highly recommend that all scholars have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical treatment, travel delays, and personal belongings for the duration of the Oxford summer school.
Parents are welcome to accompany their child on arrival and departure days to help with the transition into the OSP. However, due to UK safeguarding laws and accreditation requirements, only registered students are permitted to stay in the college accommodation.
All scholars are supervised 24/7 by trained residential staff, with structured check-ins and dedicated welfare support to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Parents are welcome to visit their child during designated break times; however, visit to college accommodation are not permitted due to UK safeguarding laws and accreditation requirements.
Parents are also warmly invited to attend the Graduation Ceremony at the end of the programme, where they can celebrate their child’s achievements and be part of this memorable Oxford experience.
