The Oxford Scholars Programme (OSP) is a prestigious summer school designed for high-achieving students from around the world. Our mission is to provide an enriching academic experience that fosters intellectual growth and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:

Student Supervision
​

Provide on-site supervision and support to students under 18, ensuring their safety and well-being during residential stays.

Monitor students’ activities, behaviour, and adherence to rules and curfew times.

Foster a positive and inclusive living environment that promotes a sense of community and mutual respect.
Accommodation Oversight
​

Ensure the residential accommodation at Linacre College is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Assist with check-in, check-out, and room assignments, ensuring a smooth and organised process for students.
Safety and Security
​

Uphold OSP’s safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring students are aware of safety measures and guidelines.

Act as a first responder in case of emergencies, promptly addressing student concerns and following appropriate protocols.
Communication and Support

Maintain effective communication with students, addressing their needs, concerns, and providing assistance as required.

Collaborate with fellow residential staff, academic tutors, and OSP management to ensure cohesive support for students.
Behaviour and Welfare

Address and manage student behaviour issues in accordance with OSP’s policies and guidelines.

Provide support and comfort to students experiencing homesickness or emotional challenges, ensuring their well-being.
Activities and Excursions

Accompany students during scheduled off-site activities and excursions, ensuring proper supervision and adherence to safety measures.

Assist with planning and organising recreational activities, contributing to a well-rounded residential experience.
Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, incidents, and any relevant observations.

Report any safeguarding concerns or incidents promptly to the Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO).
Role Modeling and Professional Conduct

Demonstrate professional behaviour, ethical conduct, and positive attitude at all times.

Serve as a positive role model for students, promoting a culture of respect, tolerance, and inclusivity.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience working with young people, preferably in a residential or educational setting.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles.
-
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
-
First aid training and certification (desirable).
-
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Around 140 hours over 2 weeks
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Graduate Contract length: 3 weeks
Salary: £850.00-£1,025.00 per week
